The cities of Anaheim and Corona woke up to a wild fire in the canyons. The fire spreads over 2 counties Orange County and Inland Empire and has burned over 2,000 acres already, threatening over 1,900 homes in the area.
By the evening of September 26, the blaze was 15% contained. In southern California autumn is the time when most destructive fires have occurred. By the time October comes around it also brings hot winds that could easily help spread brush fires.
