Power out in El Paso’s Upper Valley

An outage map on the utility’s website indicates more than 4,000 El Paso Electric customers are without power.

Despite its map, El Paso Electric officials say about 300 of their customers are affected.

A downed pole at Luckett Ct. and Montoya Road caused electricity to go out, said EPE officials.

El Paso Electric crews are in the Upper Valley working to restore power.

It was reported around 10:40 a.m.
