WESLACO, TX – Information about two suspects accused in the La Plaza Mall attempted robbery has surfaced.
Brayan Oliver Melchor and Abner Zepeda Posos were arrested three years ago for a similar crime in Los Angeles, California.
They were among the nine men who were a part of a jewelry store armed robbery in 2015.
They went into a jewelry store, armed with a handgun and hammers, smashed the displays, and took off with designer watches.
Melchor and Posos were convicted in 2016 and recently released from a state prison in California in December of 2017.
