The brother of Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock was arrested for child pornography in North Hollywood, authorities confirmed to Los Angeles news stations.
Bruce Paddock was taken into custody around 7 a.m. Wednesday at an assisted living center on Lauren Canyon Boulevard, LAPD said.
The investigation was headed up by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force that involved both the FBI and the LAPD.
It all started with a tip that came in months before the mass shooting in Las Vegas that reported Paddock had child porn on his computer. However, authorities said no one knew where he was living until another tip came in leading police to the North Hollywood location.
