MAPLE GROVE, MN — The manager of a McDonald’s in Maple Grove is accused of raping a 14-year-old employee in the restaurant’s cooler and several other places. Maple Grove resident Andrew O. Albertorio, 24, faces five counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Albertorio’s first court appearance is Tuesday afternoon, the Star Tribune reports.
Albertorio began flirting with the girl after she started at McDonald’s in the summer, according to investigators. Eventually he tried kissing her, but she would reject his advances, police said.
Authorities say in December while they were in the walk-in cooler, Albertorio pulled down her pants and raped her. In January, Albertorio also raped her in a backroom at the restaurant, as well as in his car and home, according to police.
