DETROIT, MI – Michigan is poised to become the fifth state to legalize online gambling, should the governor sign the bill, according to a report.
A last-minute vote pushed forward a bill that would legalize online gambling including casino games, online poker, and eventually sports betting, according to cardplayer.com, the bill reportedly passed by a tally of 33-5.
Michigan would join Nevada, New Jersey, Delaware, and most recently Pennsylvania in allowing online gambling, the report said.
