OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City’s U.S. Grant High School is on lock down after a gun was found on campus, Thursday morning.
Administrators tell News outlets the gun was found inside a student’s backpack and that that student ran away from the campus and is not in custody. Police are searching the area for the student at this time.
The student has not yet been identified. There have been no reports of injuries during this incident.
U.S. Grant High School is located in the 5000 block of S. Pennsylvania Avenue.
